Tout d’abord un peu d’histoire c’est 1952 que James How étudiant en violon et diplômé en ingénierie tombe amoureux du son de la cithare (instrument possédant 32 cordes quand même !).
A cour de cordes il conçoit lui même une machine à fabriquer des cordes et c’est le début de l’aventure…
A partir de 1958 les premières cordes pour autres instruments portent le nom « Top Strings » puis rapidement remplacé par « Rotop » et déjà parmi les premiers clients des noms prestigieux :

Le plus, c’est l’écoute auprès des artistes qui aura fait évoluer la qualité des cordes. Par exemple l’association avec le bassiste des Who « John Entwistle », ensemble ils vont créer des cordes pour guitare basse nouvelle génération.
En 1967 c’est aux cotés de Jimi Hendrix et de Noel Redding que la marque passe encore un échelon vers le sommet de la musique rock, petit à petit ils seront tous adepte de cette qualité qui vous est aujourd’hui proposée chez My Guitar Straps.
